All you need to do is bring up the sun in the morning, and water a few times through the day. Then come back to see how tall it has grown! It even grows while you are not playing!
*About the required permissions*
-> CALL_PHONE: This just allows you to click on an advertisement that has a phone number. Apps cannot make phone calls without you knowing, so it's not really anything to worry about.
