WORLD HOCKEY TOURNAMENT!

Every few years the best teams in the world lace up for bragging rights. Canada, Russia, The United States, Sweden, Finland, The Czech Republic, Germany, and Slovenia suit up in this battle royal tournament. Pick your team! Don't like these teams? Make your own! Play some warmup games then take on the world in tournament mode. Let the pucks fly!

INSTRUCTIONS

Each team has a different rating (from 1 to 4). A team consists of one center, two forwards, two defenders, and one goalie. You can move in 8 directions, shoot, pass, and check. Press 5 to shoot (once to set power of shot, again to shoot). Chance of scoring depends upon shooters angle (45 or 135 degrees is best!), power of shot (more is better!), and position of player (forwards shoot better than defenders). Press 0 to pass (to visible teammate in front of puckholder). Errant passes slide along the ice and eventually stop due to friction.

You can select single game or championship. In championship you can create your own team, set a name and a rating. You can also turn off ratings, in which case all teams play equally well. Championship is a single elimination knockout, quarter finals through finals.
