This runs pretty smoothly on the V975 and the graphics although not great make a nice change from the usual 2D of phone games. it only takes up about 1/4 of the screen and the fun only lasts a few minutes- its just mindless shooting. this is not the real Doom- get Doom RPG on your phone for the real experience.

Game is barely functional. You can't move and shoot, and when you're moving its about half a frame a second.
Terrible game.
3 - January 15, 2007 - TranceMist from Atlanta, GA using Motorola RAZR V3t
Only uses 1/4 of the screen on my Razr v3t, no sound and vibrates constantly.
6.4 - November 2, 2006 - Adam from Canada using Samsung SPH-A920
It's more like a Wolf-3D clone. That's not really a bad thing, since it's one of my favorite games from back in the 90's though.
The game runs rather slowly on my phone, which is a Samsung A920, and quite powerful. The controls almost work, I have to let go and push again if I hit more than one button at a time. Also, the game doesn't fill the screen on my phone (176x220).
I like the rumble when shots are fired, but there's not much in the way of sound. I don't like having sound in my phone games anyway though.
Overall, I don't know if FPS games really work all that well if they don't have a solid framerate. I think that in order to control properly, you'd need to have a little momentum in your movement, so that you could turn while moving and firing at the same time.
